We target full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines define best practices for designing digital commerce and technical information that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with disabilities.
2. Assistive Features Built Into Raw Carbon
All catalog filters, quote request forms, cart drawers, and specifications can be navigated and submitted without a mouse.
Scientific Raman spectral plots, batch metrics, and typography are rendered with high contrast ratios exceeding 4.5:1.
Input fields, drop zones, and unit selectors include descriptive programmatic ARIA labels and error state announcements.
Tested with modern assistive tools including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
3. Native Code Standard (No Obstructive Plugins)
We strictly avoid third-party "accessibility overlay" plugins that can disrupt user-tailored assistive hardware or inject tracking code into commercial checkouts. Our accessibility is engineered directly into our clean HTML and CSS architecture.
